If you are the type of person who likes to travel with luggage which safetely protects all your belongings in knife and vandal proof containers, but who simply isn't happy unless you have the absolute best of the best, then you will be very happy with the new suitcase range Hermes is starting to produce, firstly with the above model.

Called the 'Orion' and mentioned briefly in an earlier post here now finally available, it is cast from Anodised aluminium with a kevlar and carbon fiber reinforced inner, fully lined in hermes leather, with a leather trim to the handle, and round the body.

Available at time of writing, and possibly the start of a new range of aluminium luggage from Hermes, this particular piece is priced at $13,100/€9010/£7500.
