Lee Geon Maan, Korean Luxury Brand producing high quality accessories.

For anyone interested in Neck-ties a little more unusual than the standard fare, perhaps you should head over to the South Korean Brand Lee Geon Maan. Korean Born Maan has a thriving business which started (rather like Ralph Lauren) designing Mens Ties, and has since go on to design a wide range of accessories.

What makes these designs stand out is the use of characters from the Korean Alphabet Hangeul, withing the designs.  The Korean language has long been awcknowlged amongst scholars and Linguists as a unique Language with a particularly elegant simplicity.  And the geometric simplicity of its forms allows for a combination of almost 12,000 characters, with the strikingly modern, almost futurist forms of straight lines, circles and checks, it works extremely well in modern design.  Something which many modern celebrities are beginning to realise, check out Britney Spears wearing a Dolce and Gabbanna top with Korean Characters on the front.

With this new found awareness of the versatility of Hangeul in Design Lee Geon Maans design seem more relevant than ever.  Available from an online boutique www.tiummall.com  specializing in Hangeul design items the ties, their signature item, can be aquired for around £50 - £60.
