Loro Piana Continue Their Ceaseless Innovation in the fields of Luxury With Lotus Flower Fabric.

It is well known by any regular reader of our little blog, the respect in which Loro Piana is held, not just for its famously high quality Cashmeres and elegant designs, but for the endless Innovations the brand continues to make.

Like the leading light in the world of luxury that it is, it frequently surprises us all with its new and revolutionary fabrics, a few of which have included, baby cashmere, cashmere lightest, storm system and most famously for being instrumental in bringing the Vicuna back from the brink of extinction and producing garments from its fibres.

In its latest luxury fiber it has gone where no brand has gone before, and is producing garments made from Threads pulled from the Lotus Flower.

It takes up to 30,000 lotus flowers to produce one 3 foot of fabric, which apparently has properties which give the strength of silk, the breathability of linen, and the water resistance of storm system treated garments naturally.

All this will understandably affect the price, with jackets made from this material going for £3800.

So Until Loro Piana's next amazing new innovation is released, the Lotus Flower Items will be available in stores worldwide this christmas for any and all interested.
