Breitling Continues its inexorable rise with the new transocean.

Following on Breitlng's current trend of morphing from a middle high end watch retailer using externally manufactured and in house modified movements, up to the lofty heights of a true Manufacture, they  have released a brand new model, the Transocean.

Utilizing the In-House Calibre 01 automatic chronograph movement, with full COSC certification, it has become known in industry circles as a farely inexpensive option when referring to full Manufacture watches.

The new Transocean also makes another departure for Breitling, the design itself is boldly retro and elegant, a leap rather than a step away from their conventional chunky aviator watches, and also does away with a directional bezel, something which has featured on every breitling watch for 20 years plus.

The addition of lug style chronograph pusher, and slender elegant hour markers, make the overall image something you might expect from IWC or even Omega's Elegant Speedmaster range, rather than Brietling.

Available soon for £4500, and the first 2200 in steel and rose gold will be limited edition numbered versions.
