Tag Heuer Re-Release a famous Piece of Their history with a in house movement.

Yet further continuing the trend of returning to their true Horological roots, and casting off years of tag contributed by the Tag merger, Tag Heuer have re-released, or in fact re-issued with a totally new design and movement, a well renowned part of their back Catalogue, the Mikrograph, for 2011.

During the days of "Heuer" the Mikrograph was a stopwatch from the carrera range, which had the remarkable ability to measure time down to 1/100th of a second, just one of the achievments which made Heuer so well respected.  As a further Homage to the nature of this new release the dial reads only "Heuer" as most of their vintage inspired timepieces.

The movement however, is firmly modern, it has never been seen, and lifts Tag to the level of being called a true "Manufacture" all the parts for this movements are constructed in house.  Overwhelmingly complex in it's construction it features an automatic movement with a 30 Minute chrongraph, two blance wheels and a 1/100th of a second stopwatch, and incredibly impressive achievement in a wristwatch, and further harking back to the original Mikrograph.

This remarkable Watch will be produced in a quantity of just 50 Pieces world-wide, and will be made in 18K rose gold with a brown crocodile strap, no pricing information at this stage, however Tag Heuer is quickly pricing itself into the upper eschelons of the Luxury Horological world, and demonstrating with pieces like this it is able to justify the higher prices.
