Kiehl's up's it's game and attempts to move into creme de la mer territory with new rosa arctica cream containing 'resurrection flower'

Kiehl's has been a brand that has pretty much languished around the middle of the market, despite having been established in New York in 1851, it's top product is really the ultra facial cream, which retails for only £24, aside from a anti aging product they produce known as the Abyssine cream, none of their products are particularly high priced, and even this retails for only £40.

As a company they resemble more an old world pharmacy than a modern high end cosmetics company, nothing wrong with that, companies like Geo F Trumper do very well with just that sort of old world image, for  a UK comparison the closest brand is D.R. Harris, although Harriss is not quite so sucessful.  Either way, they lack that sheen of slick to compete with the big boys.

That seems to be a condition they are setting out to change with a new product, which may indicate a fresh direction, the new "Rosa Arctica youth regeneration cream with rare resurrection flower"  this new high end moisturiser contains Rosa Arctica (haberlea rhodopensis) Apparentl it 'delivers energy to skin allowing cellular activity to re-awaken while simultaneously proctecting skin from future damage

Although still priced at a most reasonable £50, the slick presentation is more reminiscent of that powerhouse of anti aging creme de la mer, aside from producing a potentially excellent anti aging product, this may indicate a fresh direction for this venerable american grooming products firm.
