Cartier release new Santos Dumont Skeleton Wristwatch.

Pictured here is Cartier's latest addition to the Santos Dumont range, this particlar version is rather strikingly formed with a Skeletonised face.  Skeleton watches are exceptionally difficult to produce, and have not been commercially popular since the 1980's, with the exception of the occasional super high end version, they have not been seen very often.

This  features, Hours and minutes indicated by skeletonized bridges in the shape  of Roman numerals. Case in 18K white gold, octagonal crown set  with a faceted sapphire, sapphire crystal, Roman numerals dial  formed by the bridges of the movement, bridges in nickel silver,  sword-shaped blued-steel hands, sapphire case back, alligator-skin  strap, double adjustable deployant buckle in 18K white gold,  water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. Individually numbered  mechanical Manufacture movement with manual winding Cartier  caliber 9611 MC. Movement details: 138 parts, 20 jewels,  dimensions of 28.6 mm x 28.6 mm, a thickness of 3.97 mm,  28,800 vibrations per hour and approx. 72 hours of power reserve. Case dimensions: 38.7 mm x 47 mm x 47.4 mm, 9.4 mm thick.
