Following rather than leading within the field of Luxury Mobile handsets for a change, Vertu have released a Touchscreen mobile, their first, very much like the Handset discussed by us here from Tag Heuer just a short time ago. This new model expands the Constellation range, which currently includes the quest handsets, also written about here recently.
As per usual, build standard is the priority, with a three point five inch sapphire crystal screen, dual LED flash, specialised heptagon lens on the camera, in solid stainless steel, ceramic ear pillow all wrapped in precious leather. And on the feature side of things this unit is no slouch either, with features such as location awareness, an eight megapixel camera, Vertu's Concierge service and Vertu's City Brief when the user arrives in a new City.
As all Vertu Mobiles this is essentially a Nokia, tweaked a little bit, with a very, very nice housing. On this occasion they have used the Nokia C7, fully touchscreen, and the major tweak is with regards to the internal memory, 32GB on the Constellation T vs 8GB on the C7 original.
For all those interested the phone will be available soon, unfortunately an official release date and pricing matrix is not known at this point in time.
