Two Parisian design houses have collaborated here, to produce an unusual pair of Sunglasses for the Luxury consumer. Parisian Jeweller Boucheron and Parisian Frame maker Gold and Wood, aside from their position in the market as luxury goods manufacturers, these two brands couldn't be further apart, Boucheron being a venerable old Jewellery house, and Gold and Wood being a firmly modern marque, specialising only in glasses.
The result can be seen in the image above, called Plume de Paon, as in Peacock Feathers, the arms clearly show the namesake and inspiration. Constructed from Steel and gold, the 'peacock feather' arms are speckled with diamonds, and feature mother of pearl ends. Nothing particularly special about the lenses here though, just bog standard coloured types with uv filters.
Available now in strictly limited quantities from the Boucheron Boutiques around the world, they are priced at £460 in steel, and £1800 in gold with diamonds.
