Brioni Debut eyewear collection for 2012.

Top end Mens tailor Brioni have debuted an eyewear collection for the first time, the brand have for the last three years been planning and discussing the venture, with the view to releasing the absolute best possible collection to the market, an with that in mind have collaborated with Carl Zeiss for the lenses, and Italian Artisans to produce the frames.

The collection will start with fifteen different models, in aviator, square and round shapes, each of which will be available in either gold, silver or gunmetal, all frames are made from horn, making them just that little bit extra special, and each pair has co-ordinated the colouring of the frame with the metal used, for example smoky brown horn, grey brown lenses and gold accents, the finishing touch is a matching leather case with a horn button.

To display the eyewear, which is available exclusively in Brioni Boutiques worldwide, Brioni have decided to go a step further even with their presentation, an original piece of furniture by architect Adolf Loos has been made following the principle of a seven drawer dresser, and inspired by 1930's table clocks allows the client to appreciate the collections in a unique way.

As a final technical detail, the hinges on the arms have the ability to bend 180 degrees, to minimise the chance of bending or breaking the precious buffalo horn arms.  Priced from £600 per pair, they are available now.
