Alfred Dunhill Laser Projection Keyboard.

Alfred Dunhill have done it again, we are not referring to the production and release of a new product, rather we are referring to the branding and dressing up of existing, slightly outdated technology, and selling it for some three time the cost.

The offending article here is the Laser keyboard, we are sure you have seen these before, they have been around in one form or another since the dawn of smartphones, if not, a sentence will suffice to explain them; they transmit laser beam from a reticule on their body with a virtual keyboard pattern onto any surface, connect via Bluetooth to your device, and when you type in the Laser grid, the input come on your device, so a keyboard anywhere you go.

Frankly we have yet to see anyone actually using one of these in the wild, yet they must sell, because they keep being made, the most accurate version is created by Celluon, and is called the "Celluon Magic Cube", and it is this we see here from Dunhill, just as with their "Fingerprint coded metal wallet", which was available for a year before they pumped theirs out, and at only £85 versus the £300 they asked, the Celluon Magic Cube has been available for a year and a half, and can be bought for just £110, versus the £290 Dunhill ask.

You do get a Dunhill logo on the thing, and a small leather case from their "Chassis" range, however, whether these additions are worth an extra £180 is rather up to you, the consumer, and, as with all choices, if you do decide to purchase one, they are available now at Dunhill's online store and in their stores and Home's.
