Another year, another Chinese New Year approaches, and just on cue comes a procession of luxury goods with the Chinese Lunar calendar theme plastered all over them, in a bold attempt to win the hearts of Chinese consumers.
This model takes the Urushi series, Chopard's flagship, and the LUC XP ultra thin model, and put a really special horse themed dial on it. The Urushi models pay particular attention to detail on the dials, with a special method of layering laquer to create a shimmering effect from all angles.
The 6.8mm thick case houses a self winding L.U.C. Calibre 96.17-L with 65-Hour power reserve, hand decorated with an off centered micro rotor, and Chopards Twin Technology for stacked barrels.
The watch will be available in boutiques from the end of December, and the price is not yet available.
