Michael Jordan may not have play Basketball professionally for over a decade, but that has not prevented him from still being relevant, and regarded as one the most important figures in sport today. The Air Jordan sneaker still remains one of the most iconic sillouhettes in Nike's lineup, and they continue to produce variations season after season, all of which are snapped up straight away.
Now Jordan has collaborated once again with Nike to produce another trainer, the new Air Jordan XX8 SE PE. Announced on Jordan's twitter page, they are inspired by the Academy Awards, and are available in either black or white, with gold accents on the lace area, and sole.
Nike is hoping to recreate the roaring success on the Kanye West trainers with these, by not announcing either availability, or pricing, although rumours give a target price of £180. Expect these to be announced similarly, at the last minute, and to sell out in minutes.
