Roche Bobois is fast becoming the leading name in contemporary furniture design. It has won countless awards for best furniture designer in numerous categories in the last 5 years, and seems to be going from strength to strength. And now, ahead of the big Salone del Mobile fair in Milan, they have announced their latest creation. The PIXL bookcase.
Designed by Fabrice Berrux, The PIXL bookcase is a modern storage unit, featuring external box structures of differing depths, giving it a playful sense of perception. The bookcase's variations on the blue-hued colour scheme further skew this sense of depth and perception, with each panel measuring 21cm wide, giving between two and three storage boxes on each shelf.
Prices will be announced at the Salone del Mobile, and it is rumoured to start from in the region of £2500 per piece.
