Graf Von Faber Castell Pen Of The Year 2014.

Graf Von Faber Castel's pen of the year is always a remarkable event to look forward to.  For 2014, they have taken as their inspiration the Catherine Palace in St Petersburg.  In particular the spectacular Agate panelling found in many  of the rooms, an homage in itself to the Roman Bath's of Antiquity.

Available in two versions, a Platinum plated model, and a 24-carat gold one, with in both case a choice of fountain of roller ball pens, each writing device is inlaid with panels of Agate, and crowned with Russian quartz stones.

Not only that, they come in exquisite presentation boxes, which unfold to reveal a collectors box which may be retained to display an owners pen collection if they desire, with space for up to 6 writing instruments.

Limited to 30 pieces in yellow gold, and 300 pieces in platinum, and costs £7,500 in gold, and £5,500 in Platinum.
