Montegrappa have continued their association with DC comics, started with 2014's special Batman pen, and have released the "DC Heroes and Villians"collection.
Modelled on the golden age iterations of DC's favourite characters, the collection includes Superman, Batman (again), Wonder Woman, The Joker, Catwoman, The Green Lantern, The Penguin, and The Riddler themed pens.
Each themed pen will come in rollerball and fountain pen versions, and special boxes, with matching desktop display trays.
The collection is set to be a more playful take on the luxury pen makers usual offerings. Whereas a Montegrapps pen can frequently top tens of thousands, these are compartively inexpensive, with rollerballs costing just £300, ball points £250 and fountain pens £375.
