Continuing their ongoing policy of high-end collaborations to produce top-end pieces for ludicrous prices, Leica have collaborated with automobile maker Zagato. The collaboration has created a pair of limited edition pair of Ultravid 8x32 binoculars.
Manufactured from machined aluminum, they feature hundreds of fine grooves milled into the surface of the shell, providing a unique haptic experience for the user. In addition to this, they also have two anodized rings inscribed with "Zagato", and are supplied in a special edition case, and Italian leather carrying strap.
The "Edition Zagato" is limited to 1,000 pieces and is available from September, costing £2,500 per edition.
