While Pantone is in many ways a brand for everyone, high prices and a perceived cachet have meant it has become a luxury brand in-and-of-itself. Adding to this perception is the luxury names which are often added to the colour swatch makers line up creating new colours.
NEwest to join the ranks is Jason Wu, who has created a special edition shade of grey. The mid-silver tone is 90 percent white hues with hints of blue, and is intended to remind of a favourite t-shirt and a generally relaxed vibe, and is apparently the designers favourite colour.
