To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Patek Philippe's now iconic Nautilus, the brand has produced two special edition's of the timepiece. First up the 5711/1P, which is the closest to the original 3700/1A of 40 years ago, cased in platinum, this 40mm watch has time, date, sweep seconds, 18k white gold dial hands and markers, baguette cut diamonds in the hour markers, and a diamond set into the bezel at 6 o'clock. Finally, the face has the legend "40 1976 - 2016" embossed on the dial.
The 5976/1G is a chronograph, in 18k white gold, measuring 44mm, and the same dial configuration as the 5711/1P, with the addition of princess cut diamonds.
The 5711/1P is limited to 700 pieces worldwide, and the 5976/1G 1,300 pieces. The 5711/1P will cost £100,000 and the 5976/1G £80,000.
