TAG Heuer have decided to up the ante on their luxury smart watch, the Connected Modular 45, which they unveiled last March, by releasing a solid gold, diamond encrusted version.
The timepiece itself is a little glimpse into the future of luxury watches. Developed by Intel and Google, it is a modular concept, meaning each component can be removed and replaced, thereby giving the wearer flexibility in the options the watch displays. A sapphire crystal display, mechanical module Caliber 5, with AMOLED screen, customizable dials, NFC and app connectivity, this is not your parents TAG.
The special edition boasts a white 18K gold case, 589 baguette-cut diamonds, comes in a special box, and costs £125,000.
