Flos Miss K soft, a slightly more luxurious alternative to the classic bedside lamp.

Phillipe Starck's Miss K lamp for Flos has become a pretty much ubiqutous and universally recognized piece of lighting furniture around the world.  With its versatile range of lighting options, and attractive feminine shape, it can fit into pretty much any environment without too much difficulty.

Some people however have expressed reservations about the all polycarbonate design of the Miss K, feeling that it lacks the elegance to fit into more traditional environments.  To answer this criticism, Flos have released the next evolution of the Miss K range, the Miss K soft. 

Utilizing the same elegant almost glass like neck, and changing the polycarbonate diffuser for the same fabric one of the popular romeo soft range, the new product is a hybrid of the Romeo Soft's old world elegance, and the Miss K's contemporary cool, allowing it to fit easily into an even wider range of home styles.

Priced at £200, it is just slightly more expensive than the standard Miss K, which should satisfy people looking to one-up the Miss K.
