Moncler presents the perfect down vest with the cheval, matt and sensible with a touch of shine.

Although when on the slopes a shiny ski jacket, or even a full snow suit, doesn't raise any eyebrows, in the city, a shiny down jacket or gillet can look a little strange, a bit cheap and slightly feminine.  We wrote about that here in the very early days of our blog, mentioning the Loro Piana Morgex in leather or nylon storm system as a luxurious and subtle alternative to Moncler's unquestioned Luxury, but slightly cheap shiny look.

This season Moncler Seems to have moved towards being a little more subtle, the formerly shiny gilet known as 'tibet' with an oversized moncler logo, has had the name shortened to 'tib' and the logo minimized.

And for those who wish for even more subtlety Moncler have Released this, the Cheval.  With matt nylon on the body and back, and a single strip of shiny nylon on the shoulder for a touch of zazz, it adequetley fulfills the function of providing being a Moncer Goose Down vest, and as its matt rather than shiny can bee easily worn in the city without looking too extreme.

The Moncler Cheval Vest is Available from The Moncler Sloane Street store, Harrods and Harvey Nichols for £350.00.
