Exclusive by appointment only Tattoo artist Scott Campbell who charges from £200 per hour for his expertise has bee recruited by Marc jacobs as a collaborator for the Spring Summer 2011 collection. Initially Campbell was commissioned to ink temporary Tattoos on the models at the catwalk show, following this success Jacobs has gone on to ask The artist to work on a collection of Luggage For Louis Vuitton.
Thus far the major contribution from this has been a bag for Vuitton's high end Utah collection, in black Utah Leather and with an intricate detail embossed around the centre of the bag in a strip design carefully etched using laser cutting, and with LV initials prominently embossed in the centre.
Set to be released within the next couple of months, and available only from the stores themselves, it will be retailing for £5500, around about 25% more than the standard Utah collection
