Tag Heuer release MP4-12C continue their climb to credibility as Watch maker.

It seems there is no stopping Tag in their quest for respect in the world of Horology, after some of their recent offerings commanding considerable renown from plaudits, they have now gone further, producing This elegant timepiece reminiscent of Richard Mille's offerings, and in doing so have taken another step away from Tag's Plastic 80's monstrosities, and closer to the true spirit of Heuer's Historical record.

This Wrist-Watch utilizes a Dubois Deprz Caliber 4900, , with a souchon of Tag Heuer modification that makes it their own, in keeping with their naming of customized movements they are calling it 'Caliber 49'.  Forty seven jewels and a semi-perpetual calendar function with a large date.

The packaging here is what really makes this stand out, not that there is a question of style over substance, merely the case is particularly nice.  made from titanium with a carbon fibre dial and a large central window to view the movement, orange 0 Numeral, bold white numerals on the dial, orange and black hands, and a mesh/leather black and orange strap, you almost feel like if this was on your wrist you would need to run faster to keep up with the Mclaren MP4-12C supercar that inspired this watch.

Available now from Tag Heuer main Boutiques only, one of which is is the westfield centre in Shepherds Bush, and is limited to 1000 pieces worldwide, priced at around £5,500 according to dealer estimates.
