IWC release another Pilot Antoine de Saint Exupery, the 5th of this series.

IWC have announced their latest limited edition timepiece, and the Fifth of this particular commemorative edition related to Antoine de Saint Exupery, French Poet, Aviator and Inventor.

IWC have been producing Limited de Exupery Wrist-Watches since 2005, keeping a connection with the famiy in order to keep the memory and legacy of this remarkable individual alive.

This latest edition will be produced in 18ct Rose gold, with a brown dial and the classically heavy Big Pilot strap in brown with heavy white stitching, and is limited to just 500 pieces.

Untilizing IWC's 51614 calibre movement , on the technical side of things, it has calender, four digit year display, moon phase and a seven day power reserve.

The watch also provides moon  phase in a suitably charming fashion, there is a tiny plane silhouette in the direction of the moons phase, and depending on the point of view is percieved as a mirror image, its accuracy deviating 12 seconds from the actua course of the moon in a given lunar period.

At this point pricing is not available.
