Limited to 400 pairs worldwide, and sold officially from November 5th 2010, realistically these very exclusive and very limited edition trainer have been trickling into stores around the globe a few pairs at a time since then, with a 1st December 2010 US date, and a January 14th UK release.
Not particularly grand in pricing, at only £90 Recommended Retail, they feature a drawing from from Hirst titled "all you need is Love" which was auctioned in 2007 for the (product)RED organisation, and feature the blue and red butterflies from the image.
Exclusivity has ensured that prices have not dropped below £150 pretty much anywhere. Although Colette Paris apparently still have a few pairs remaining, officially they are regarded as having sold out Worldwide.
For anyone interested in the charity element these are part of the Converse (product)RED range and a part of the proceeds from the sale will go to that organisation.
