As Lamborghini announce the fifth generation supercar, designed to take the place of the discontinued murcielago, we have to ask ourselves what it reminds us of? Certainly it gives a nod to the awesome Reventon, which is reminiscent of a stealth bomber on wheels, but the vehicle which is most brought to mind is the Lamborghini Diablo. The Murcielago was never respected in the same way as the Diablo, mainly because with all its soft curves it just didnt have the gut punching visual impact of its predecessor, with this new Car, the Aventador LP700-4, their designers have happily looked back instead of forward, and we see that when one of these comes down the street, you are going to notice, not just because of the sound of the Engine.
Under the hood all the usual power we have come to expect, a six point five V12 engine, which they have also redesigned to be lighter than the murcielago engine, outputting some six hundred and ninety one horsepower with improved fuel efficiency. Electronic hand brake and advanced electronic instrument cluster ensures this vehicle will stay ahead of the pack on looks, Horsepower and technology.
The suggested retail price for this beast will be £201,000, but you had better start ordering NOW, as they are set to be in very high demand.
