The New Blackberry 9900 and 9930 set to combine touchscreen and keypad in a traditional phone format.

New from Blackberry, and set to be released in the next 6 months officially is the successor to the Bold series of Mobile/Smart-Phone.  Essentially a natural progression of the Bold, incorporating several new technologies into its slender form factor.

Aside from the obvious - qwerty keyboard, MicroSD, Micro USB 5MP camera, bluetooth, GPS etc -  This new mobile incorporates several new technologies, a touchscreen 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen with a density of 287dpi and a 640x480 resolution,  HD video recording, 4G technology, an accelerometer, digital compass, proximity sensor, and Wifi speeds up to 5Ghz.

One particularly exciting new technology set to be included in the Handsets is NFC or Near-Field-Communication, meaning that the handset can be preloaded with credit and used at pay-points for transactions, a technology which will reportedly be glaringly absent from the ne iPhone 5.

All this will incorporated into a 115x66x10.5mm shell, weighing just 130g, as stated set to be released in the 3rd to 4th quarter of 2011.
