Winter Collections start squeezing their way onto the scene, Lanvin's Trainer/Sneaker Collection presented.

Strange as it may seem Summer is almost over, in more temperate climes this may seem logical, having enjoyed several months of sun and lounging around enjoying said Sun.  Here in England However, it seems a little odd that since the weather has only JUST began to warm up suddenly now we find that Summer is over.

The fact is though Summer is nearing it's end, and in line with that Designers have started to release the collections they designed months ago for the Winter season, one Brand which lends itself particularly well to the Winter season is Lanvin, with it's creature-of-the-night type feel it seems designed for long dark nights leading into cloudy day's.  And of all Lanvin's products it is their Trainers and Sneakers which most garner attention, to the point that the embroidered logo on their Polo tops Is a pair of Lanvin Hi-Tops.

With that in mind we present to Autumn-Winter 2011 Lanvin Line  up of Trainers and sneakers, we see al the classics in a range of on colours with the trademark thick white soles, and a selection of exciting new materials, including canvas printed witha  snakeskin type design.

Most significantly is the above moon-boot type style which is a new style altogether for Lanvin, the overall feeling of this seasons collection is, with the exception of the printed canvas model, minimalism, much more reserved than the shiny patent models of previous seasons.

Set to be available from all Lanvin stockists Mid August, prices should start from around £400 for the sneakers, and around £450 for hi-tops, no pricing on the new moon-boot style.
