Bottega Veneta's 2011 - 2012 Fall/Winter Menswear and Accessories collection's released.

As already discussed, Winter (collections) have arrived, and here is Bottega Veneta's selection.  Pictured below is the images from their catwalk show, displaying their menswear collection, then a small explanation of said collections and the highlighted accesories.

As we clearly see, the Bottega collections for Menswear this winter are both practical, rugged and wearable, somber minimalist shades combined in that pinnacle of true dressing 'layering' to achieve a almost Cucinelli like level of elegance.  combined with the occasional splash of colour from bright hued Cords, the overall look is like the country-gentleman-of-the-night.  Moving onto accessories we see below a selection of images displaying the highlights, some of which can be seen on the catwalk above.

Continuing the rugged, elegant yet wearable theme from the catwalk show, driving shoes are interpreted in autumnal shades, or fur lined for warmth, solid biking boots provide a solid base to walk around on in wet winter days.  Leather is introduced in shades of browns and tans, both in bags and belts, and a new bag is debuted, a espresso brown duffel trimmed in intrecaciatto leather with fringes, again continuing the rugged theme.   Finally hats for this season, yet again, are reminiscent of utility clothing, yet done, with beanie caps one would expect to see on a farmer preparing to do battle with the chill of a winter morning, bout once again in a way that can only be mistaken for luxury, with chunky cable knit cashmere in several shades, our favourite is this deep indigo shade which is available to purchase on-line.
