Following on from our recent post on Lanvins new Fall 2011 Shoe collection, we present a selection of Ralph laurens collection for the 2011 - 2012 autumn/winter season.
Each Image is from one of Ralph Lauren's Ranges and gives a feel for the collections that will be released over the colder months of the year, the overiding feel of the Polo and Purple label ranges is that of Art Deco, or 1920's interpreted into their formal wear, casual wear retains the rugged feel that they are famous for in the colder months.
Ralph Lauren Black Label Denim which debuted just two seasons ago has presented an exciting selection of dark and midnight blue denim for the Winter months of 2011. Smart trenches mix with belted motorcycle style jackets for a look which is both modern and casual.
Ralph Lauren Black Label has stayed pretty much identical to all its previous seasons, there is a limited scope when presenting a range of skinny dark themed clothes entitled 'Black Label' however they have managed to present a few stand out pieces, such as an elegant parka with leather accent's and various other pieces which will be gradually announced throughout the season.
Polo Ralph Lauren's Collection shouts a clear message for the winter season Layering,Layering,Layering. In the above image we see the Brands approach to suiting for Winter, which is clearly one with a very rustic feel, country gentleman is the message being delivered by Polo if smart styles are your bag.
Ralph Lauren Purple Label does not seem to have changed their classic silhouette, they appear to have gone for the same shades of Brown that have become a staple of Purple Label for the last few seasons, this time however, with the addition of a slightly heavier gauge of cloth to stave of winter chills, along with some unusual long coats, such as the pictured one.
Ralph Lauren RLX Collection shows the same rugged mountaineering type feel that Polo Label displayed in their Fall/Winter collection 2010 - 2011. Heavy lined boots, quilted vests, and layering with plaids and rollenecks, all done in the tecnical fabrics RLX is known for.
It looks very similar with last FW season. - anything special.
