Bentley Announce the intention to produce a £100,000 SUV.

Following the footsteps of Porsche's success with a SUV, Bentley's Chief Executive Wolfgang Duerheimer, who was responsible for pushing porsche from their traditional market of Luxury sports car into the SUV market in 2002, has announced his intention to take Bentley in a similar direction.  This plan has been discussed and approved by Bentley's parent company, Volkswagen, and is expected to be produced in the next 4 years.

Considering their CEO, and the way bentley has expanded their range from the traditional luxury sedan, to include two seater sports car's, moving into the SUV market does nto come as a great surprise, what will make this stand out, is Bentley's position in the market will automatically place this SUV at the pinnacle of the SUV market.  It is the Marques prestige that will allow it to command in excess of £100,000 upon it's release.
