Fiat 500 90th anniversary Gucci edition Collection.

Much discussed in the automotive and Luxury press recently has been the 90th anniversary edition of the fiat 500.  This little car has been called 'the ultimate fashion accessory' and is essentially a standard Fiat 500, which has been given a bit of a facelift by Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director.  A video can be found at the bottom of this entry, which shows the car's features, these include black and white trimmed leather interior, mirror caps and shoulderline all in chrome, 16 inch Gucci branded alloys, green painted brake calipers, green and red vanity stripe on the side of the car, and come in White of black.  At £15,000 it is cheaper than an exotic leather bag from Gucci.

Not one to miss a marketing opportunity, Alongside this new vehicle, Gucci have also released a capsule collection of 500 branded goods.  The images below show for the most part the extent of the collection, which includes Sunglasses, hats, keyrings, luggage, small accessories, a limited edition watch, and even clothes and shoes.

Predominantly the defining character of the 500 collection is the bold Green and Red Gucci colours.  the pieces in the collection are farely reasonably priced also, take for example the driving shoes, which come in at a surprisingly low £270 per pair.
