Acqua Di Parma Relaunches Blu Mediterraneo range Updated for 2012.

The Blu Mediterraneo range released by Acqua Di Parma many moons ago, then relaunched last year, has been yet again revamped, this time, rather than a single fragrance five different perfumes designed with warm weather italian holiday destinations in mind, to evoke a sense of adventure, an elegance.

All come in blue glass bottles, and cost £50 for 75ml and £75 for 150ml, available now from all Acqua Di Parma perfume retailers, Brief details of each perfume are below, the overriding ingredient present is Bergamot oil, a common ingredient when trying to prepare a fresh summery fragrance, read on to discover the range .

Mirto di Panarea Blu Mediterraneo - Named after the Aeolian Island of Panarea, the fragrance has top notes of Myrtle and basil, lemon and bergamot, a core of jasmine and rose, and a base of mastic, juniper cedar wood and amber.



Bergamot di Calabria Blu Meditteraneo - named after Calabria and Bergamot, the oil of oranges specifically from Calabria, this intensely citrusy scent has a top of bergamot and citron, a core of red ginger and cedar wood and a base of vetiver, benzoin and musk.


Fico di Amalfi Blu Meditteraneo - designed to be the fresh scent of the set, and named after the Amalfi coast for it, it has a top of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit and citron, a heart of nectar, pin pepper and jasmine petals and a base of fig, cedar wood and benzoin.


Arancia di Capri Blu Mediterraneo - this is designed to be the sophisticated scent of the bunch, and is named after Capri to evoke this sense, top notes of sicilian orange, mandarain and lemon combine with a middle of petit grain, cardamom, and a base of caramel and musk.


Mandorlo di Sicilia Blu Mediterraneo - Designed to be the unusual fragrance of the selection, this contains top notes of bergamot oil and orange, with a centre of Chinese star Anise, green mediterranean almond, ylang ylang, and a base of cedar wood, vanilla, tolu balsam and white musk.
