Clive Christian has managed to retain the title of most prestigious perfume maker and interior designer for some years now, culminating in the award this year of an OBE for his contribution to the luxury goods industry. His number one perfume has managed to secure a top spot in most expensive perfume in the world for years now, and to commemorate both his OBE, and the Queens Jubilee year, he has produced a limited edition version of his number one perfume.
The tribute is a fitting one, Clive Christian's company has existed since 1872, indeed its signature No.1 perfume was commissioned by Queen Victoria, the only other British Monarch to be able to celebrate so long a reign as Queen Elizabeth II, this special edition of the No.1 is more concentrated than the commercially available version, and is presented in a special lined Box, in addition to which the bottle has a Red ribbon, referring to Clive Christian's OBE medal.
The perfume is priced at £850 per bottle.
