Loro Piana Traveller Short Jacket.

It is no secret that here at Disappear Here we are huge fans of Loro Piana, and it also cannot be denied that they produce some of the most elegant, and versatile clothing around.  Their real forte however, which cannot be denied, is for elegant casual, luxury travel wear, especially relevant in todays world where we all want to look good when we travel, and be comfortable.

Of all their garments one of their most popular is the Traveller jacket, this Loro Piana version of the field jacket offers lot of pockets, lots of room, and crucially, lots and lots of style, but for those who feel it is a little too long, Loro Piana have created a solution, the Traveller short, in two materials, it is shorter than the original by 5 cm, meaning less potential crumpling when travelling, and meaning it can be produced in lighter materials which may crumple in travelling at a longer length.

First up we have it in Technical cotton, in a beige shade known as "Tobacco", it is vaguely reminiscent of a safari jacket, but with so much more panache that there cannot be any confusion on that front, details include upright collar with detachable rather than foldaway hood, another design change meaning a more elegant neckline, suede edged pockets, dual entry lower pockets, drawstring bottom, and multi purpose reinforced inside pockets.

Second up, for the cooler months of early spring and early autumn, it comes in midnight blue wool and cashmere blend storm system, same dimensions as the other, and with a wind proof microfibre lining, meaning your clothes never get creased, the detachable hood on this baby is trimmed with argentinian fox fur, and finally, the rib cashmere cuffs mean the wind wont whip up your sleeves.

Both these garments are available now, for order by delivery from their online store, or in store at any of their boutiques, the technical cotton traveller short costs £1,340, and the wool cashmere blend model is priced at £2,660.
