Sony DEV-50V HD Digital Recording Binoculars.

Sony continues to take us into the world of Science Fiction with a new version of their Digital Recording Binoculars, you know? When you see some sci-fi movie with a future soldier looking at an enemy encampment through high tech binoculars?  Then he zooms in, takes a photo and shows the image to his commander to plan the attack?  Well, thats what these babies are (future soldiers not included).

The new DEV-50V HD Digital Recording Binoculars expand on the original released last year, make it smaller, lighter, weatherproof, carries a 20.4-megapixel sensor for still images, gives 1080/60p video, with mic and audio input, and can even record 3-D images, the most crucial feature you would expect from your super future binoculars of course is zoom, and this doesnt disappoint, giving 0.8x to 25x zoom, autofocus, with wide zoom magnification, all of which can be viewed and played back through the dual 2.4m-dot XGA OLED viewfinders, even the three dimensional content!

So there you have it, for just £1800, from the end of May, the future can be yours, unfortunately, you will have to make your own lazer gun sounds until tecnology improves im that area also.
