Globe-Trotter Jet Leather Series Collection.

Globe-Trotter may be rightly famous for it's iconic hardsided luggage. but it has long been wondered by us, and many other we are certain, in this day and age, who would indulge in large heavy, hardsided luggage the sort Globe-Trotter almost exclusively produce?  The answer is, we feel, not many people, they design hark back to the days of it's founding, 1897, where travellers would not even carry their own luggage, and therefore heft and bulk were irrelevant, nowadays, there are precious few travellers who do not carry their own luggage, and so rolling luggage, or lightweight holdalls are the luggage of today.

With this in mind, the brand has in recent years produced several alternatives, their outstanding Onehundred&ten suitcase, formed from carbon fibre, and weighing just 110 grams, to mention but one, and now, in  a break with the traditions of their hardsided luggage, they have produced this, the Jet Leather Series.

The collection comprises a variety of pieces, and covers many bases, including a holdall, briefcase, passport holder, luggage tags, travel wallet card holder, leather bound books and various other pieces, all made from scratch proof leather in a variety of some 10 different colours.

Prices are quite keen also, £1000 for the holdalls, £900 for the flight bags, £650 for the briefcases, £65 for the passport holders, £190 for the travel wallets, £150 for the currency wallets, £150 for the iPad covers, £70 for the iPhone cases, £150 for the billfold wallets and £40 for the leather bound books.

The entire collection is available in stores now, and cannot be purchased online.
