Goyard, Hermes, Boucheron, Baccarat, Fauchon, Bernardaud, Christofle & S.T. Dupont For Lacoste 80th Anniversary.

Lacoste's 80th anniversary has now given us more than just a range of commemorative shirts and accessories, nine of France's finest luxury brands, have produced a selection of special limited edition items to celebrate the momentous occasion, below are the selection of products.

It should be noted, these products were conceived by the brands in collaboration with Colette, the exclusive French luxury store, and Lacoste had no part in the concept other than their granting the trademark to be used, therefore all the products shown here will be available from Colette's 213 Rue Saint-Honore store for a stricly limited period of today, june 10th, to this Saturday June 16th.

From Baccarat come a crystal vase inspired by the tennis trophies won by Rene Lacoste, incorporating emerald green panels, Lacostes signature colour.

Bernadaud the porcelain manufacturer have produced a range of 37 Golfing Tee's, an homage to Lacoste's wie, golfer Simone Thion de la Chaume, the tees correspond to Lacoste's polo shirt range colours.

From Boucheron come emerald and diamond encrusted crocodile brooches, the motif of Lacoste, cast from white gold.

With another nod to Lacoste's wife, Christofle have produced a Sterling Silver golf club with a white calf leather handle, this putter would howeer be more likely to be on display than in the bag.

For a more accessible and delicious fix of commemorative flair, Fauchon have produced a range of flavoured eclairs, in flavours such as green tea, vanilla, strawberry and lavender, the bright primary colours which are Lacoste's signature are complimented by on each eclair a Lacoste logo in marshmallow.

Goyard, not wanting to be left out, have crafted a special edition of their Boeing 55 travel bag, in white canvas, with grey chevrons, and green leather trim, the bag is offset by hand painted triple green,white,green stripes, and the Lacoste logo hand painted by Goyards workshops in the centre of the bag.

Hermes have created potentially the most extravagant item of the commemorative selection, outdoing both Boucheron's diamond crocodile, and Goyard's white bag, with a Khaki Crocodile leather tennis bag.

And from S.T. Dupont comes a typically restrained and simple offering, a lighter and pen gift set, a 'Line 2' lighter, two candles, a notebook and two pens from the Classique and Elysees ranges, all of which bear commemorative marks denoting them as part of the Lacoste range.
