The James Bond 007 fragrance released for the 50 year anniversary of the James Bond franchise has, shockingly to many, turned out to be more than merely a short lived gimmick, it has endured, become a top seller, and now, even more suprisingly, spawned a new addition to the 007 fragrance range, James Bond 007 Ocean Royale.
Suspending our disbelief for the time being, and simply accepting the fact that this vaguely tacky "scent of 007" tie-in has managed to succeed, let us now view the new addition, the Ocean Royal fragrance has top notes of Sea Breeze, Accord, Lime and Aniseed, heart notes of Teak Wood Orris and Cedar Wood and base notes of Guaiac Wood, Sandalwood and Jamaican Coffee Accord.
This all combines to make a fragrance which is pleasantly fresh, not particularly challenging, and definitively masculine, sort of like Lynx deodorant.
So if all this appeals to you, then head to your local perfume store to buy one, the only real perk of this product being the price, which is a relatively reasonable £19.50 for a 30ml gift set £24.50 for 50ml and just £31.50 for 75ml.
