Adidas's ZX Flux shoe having a soft fabric upper has given people real scope for creativity with respect to doing special edition releases. It's nature means screen printing can allow pretty much any design you can conceive to completely cover the shoe, which means that creations such as the recently shown "Body Building" shoe created for an art installation by Alberto Biagetti and Laura Baldassari for Salone Del Mobile become possible.
Adidas have chosen to follow this type of creativity for the launch of their new Tokyo Flagship store, opening today, and have created a special edition colourway inspired by the neon lights, and brightly coloured night scenes of Tokyo.
This shoe will sadly only be available to purchase from Tokyo's flagship store today, and costs £125 per pair. However, we suggest keeping an eye on eBay, as it will be likely sell out quite quickly.
