It's nice to see NikeLab producing a pair of minimalist wearable sneakers for a change. We are so used to seeing the extreme quick strike release that a simple elegantly cool shoe is a breath of fresh air. But then again, collaborating with ultra minimalist Dover Street Market, what else could it be but minimalist?
Taking the classic Air Jordan 1, giving it a navy patent slightly pearlescent effect leather upper, white midsole, and navy sole, and the Dover Street Market logo writ large inside the sneaker, these are a seriously smart pair of sneakers. Available from their Ginza store they will cost £120, plus any import fees, and will be available from April 16th or thereabouts.
