Chanel Bleu de Chanel, first Fragrance new mens Fragrance in 10years, seems to be winning few fans.

After more than a full Decade Chanel have finally released a completely new Scent for men, the last one was Chanel Allure, an amazing best seller for them, and although there have been several variations on Allure's basic Recipe, including a sport edition, white edition and a few others, the eagerly awaited new Bleu De Chanel is the first totally fresh (pardon the pun) fragrance for 12 years.

However, Aside from various clearly biased and sponsored articles in magazines such as this months Esquire (no insult to Esquire, fantastic publication) there do not seem to be very many truly complementary reviews from truly independent sources, or from people in the blogosphere.

Most reviews seem to range between comparing it to another variation of Allure, to mentioning that the supposed freshness of Bleu is stale.  And the Scorsese directed advert has been ridiculed also, dicussing speceifically ridiculing the lines spoken by the French actor Gaspard Ulliel, that rather than be unexpected we should expect more of the same.

The new fragrance will without question sell in massive quantities, as most people will have no idea about the subtle complexities that the experts have reviewed.  available now from most perfume outlets, and priced from £45 for the smallest 50ml size.
