Berluti announce winter 2010 limited edition shoe, the tryptique.

For many years now Berluti release a design of shoe as a limited commemorative collection, a common habit amongst high end retailers of luxury goods.  In Berluti's case, if the shoe become exceptionally popular they will either introduce it into the permanent collection (as in the case of the risible emprinte du loup) or re-release it again in the future ( as with the suede andy loafer).

This latest offering is apparently an homage to the great game of chess, and is released in three versions, the all velvet king, the all leather flanchetto and the leather suede mix knight.

THe collection is available in Berluti stores now, staring from £780 a pair for the flanchetto model.
