Ermenegildo Zegna Lightstyle super lightweight collection, and zero weight seersucker crossover Jacket.

For Spring/Summer 2011 Zegna have announced a new collection of lightweight and attractive pieces, for warmer climates designed to be comfortable and breathable, they have called this capsule collection 'Lightstyle'  and it contains sports jackets, scarves, trousers, loafers, casual jackets and shirts.

The stand out piece from this lighter more relaxed collection is this Ultra Light sports jacket.  The material is called seersucker crossover, and is comprised of a mix of linen, wool and silk, woven into a remarkable ultra, ultra light fabric, which weighs for the entire jacket, just 220 grams.

Being so light, including padding to give the unlined garment some structure, it has been called the Zero Weight jacket, and comprises some elegant details despite its lightness.  three internal pockets, three external pockets, dual rear vents, and subtle boning in the body to ensure it keeps some structure.
