Tag Heuer have never quite found a niche with their Phone range, rather in the same way several of their other ranges don't seem to find their feet. trouble is they can't quite decide what direction they want to go in. With Vertu you can clearly see you are dealing with luxury mobile phones, just as with many of the designer phones, however Tag produces these clunky heavy squares that have pretty bog standard features, and a clock on top, then they charge the earth for them. An add policy which has won them few fans in consumers or critics.
Whatever the case with their brand choices, they have now released a special edition of the meridist handset, inspired by Gulf Oil, whose iconic light blue and orange stripe adorn several iconic products, including Tag heuers own Monaco edition wrist-watches, and who as a Company have sponsored many historically significant racing events.
This new edition has no extra features, merely the paint job, and will be limited to 400 models worldwide, pricing information is unavailable at present, it will however most likely be around 10% more expensive than the £2950 standard priced model.
I have one of these phones and am a litte offended you insult them they are excellent and bettre than the vertu I used to have
