The luxury mobile market, which once consisted of vertu only, has become so saturated that it is hard to find the wood from the trees regarding what truly is a luxury mobile, and what consists merely of packaging and nothing more.
Following the Announcement of a collaboration between Mobiado the Canadian based Luxury Mobile phone maker and Aston Martin, it has been expected since then that a product release would clearly define what the collaboration means, and with the Grand 350 mobile this has happened.
Referencing the point made at the start of this article, Mobiado fall into the latter category, that is to say they take existing handsets and clad in luxurious housings, rather similar to Nokia's Vertu brand, difference being Vertu is an independantly run subsidiary of Nokia, whereas Mobiado is a totally different company.
And on that note we present the Aston Martin Grand 350 Mobiado, presented in three colours, it is the E71 is exceptionally high quality packaging, the concept works, and the phone is attractive, however, fat is the Vertu constellation quest is exactly the same thing, a repackaged E71, and looks alot nicer too.
Available late 2011, the new mobiado grand 350 will be priced at £3500 per unit.
