Beosound 1, Beosound 3200 and Beosound 9000 now officially out of Range.

To many people this news comes as no surprise, originally rumoured in 2007, the intention to discontinue these devices was well and truly expected by BeoLovers.  As part of an ongoing strategy o bring B&O firmly into the 21st Century, pretty much all CD playing Devices have now been removed from the Range, wan't to play a CD?  You will need to use either the Beosound 4, the last remaining B&O model with the sexy move-your-hand-and-the-glass-moves feature which made the 3200 so popular many moons ago, or the beocenter 2, which is designed more as an AV venter than HI-FI.

Finally however, after the majority of stock has been depleted, the 3 titans of Bang and Olufsens Range have finally been removed from their Website, and Catalogues, the the Death Knell for B&O products.  This does not mean to say that they will not still be available to buy in B&O stores, B&O has and always will enjoy a healthy after market for discontinued items, due to their value and desirability, and second hand models, and the odd one left in stock will for the next few years continue to be sold, that can be expected, however, no more will ever be produced, and never will they be advertised as a main line product by B&O.
