We at Disappear Here like to stay clear of rumours generally, sticking to only actual physical products or announcements, but frankly, this one is just too exciting to avoid. According to rumours, Louis Vuitton will be releasing a Fragrance in the near future. A sensible move since fragrance is pretty much the only market that Louis Vuitton do not have a presence.
Apparently, Louis Vuitton have secured the services of French Perfumier Jacques Cavalier-Belletrud, who has been part of fragrances such as Jean-Paul Gaultier Classic, Dior Addict and many others, and who was additionally awarded the Prix Francois Parfumeur Award in 2004.
This goes back to a statement by Marc Jacobs in June, where he said he had long hoped Louis Vuitton would have a fragrance range, and that they were "working on" a perfume, his exact words were in fact "There is no Vuitton Beaute. At this moment there is no fragrance, although we are working on that.
Thats all we are afraid, not a particularly satisfying story, being as it is nothing but rumour, but still, it is something to look forward to, as one source stated, the release date is expected to be mid to late 2012, so it wont be long to wait.
