Prada and LG give it another shot with the Prada/LG 3.0 phone.

Way back in the old, old days of 2006 LG debuted a phone which was a glorious collaboration of LG's technical expertise and Prada's design aesthetic, it was a powerhouse of a smartphone, with every conceivable gadget of the day, and more besides, and it was a full touchscreen phone, this in the days when the iphone was a dream in stephen jobs mind and not a reality. Retailing at £500 it flew off the shelves, all fashionistas and gadget lovers snapped them up.

Then the iphone was born, and when the Prada/LG version 2 came ou, pretty much no-one batted an eyelid, who cares about a clunky LG when you can be leader of the pack with a iphone in a hermes case?  

We are pleased and proud to announce, that today LG announced that they will be producing a third collaboration mobile with Prada, and that this new handset, set to be released in the early part of 2012, will feature highlights such as a 4.3" retina grade screen, 9mm thin body, 21mbos HSPDA, Android 2.3,  and a host of other features sure to amuse and delight users.

Lets just hope for LG and Prada's sake it doesn't have it's release anywhere near the iphone 5, otherwise they will never have any chance of selling one!
